Slot Central
This unbelievable slot system is in the northernmost area of the state known as the Arizona Strip District. Buckskin Gulch is 14 miles long with a slight grade the whole way. It is normally dry. The Paria River Canyon is its wetter, wider, longer sister. We will explore both. If the weather forecast puts us in danger of flash floods, this trip will need to be rescheduled or cancelled. That would be unusual for this time of year. We will backpack in and enjoy a different camp each night.
